Born from a Deep Passion
for Pure Music
ShuddhaNaad Sangeet Vidyalay was officially founded on 30 March 2025 in Fursungi, Hadapsar, Pune â a city that has always been a cradle of classical arts in Maharashtra.
The name "ShuddhaNaad" itself speaks volumes â Shuddha means pure, and Naad means sound or musical tone. Together, they represent our core belief: that music taught without compromise or dilution is the only true form of musical education.
The academy was born out of the vision of Guru Shivam Kendre, a 16-year veteran tabla player and disciple of the legendary Shri Yashwant Vaishnav Guruji, who felt a pressing need to counter the decline of authentic classical training in contemporary India.
What began as a small, dedicated effort to teach a handful of sincere students has already grown to a community of 25+ active learners, with students trained across India and abroad.
